Often we go through trying times, a death or sickness in the family, financial hardship, and the list goes on and on because, after all, this is life isn't it? Many times we bring trouble and tribulation on ourselves (in times of honest, candid, lucidity we'll admit this to ourselves), and in those times we need God's help as well as a change in our own thinking or actions...However, sometimes trials and tribulation come from an outside source, maybe a co-worker who's just got it out for us, or perhaps a friend who's betrayed us, maybe even a spiritual leader or mentor who's genuinely done us wrong....
No matter the circumstance, no matter the situation, the resounding scripture that rings true throughout ages is this, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (I Peter 5:7). Coupled with Jesus' promise to never leave nor forsake us (see Mt 28:30 and Heb 13:5) we understand that our hope and comfort has always and WILL ALWAYS be in Him alone...
So when life has you down, when you're weary with your fellow man (and remember you're one too), when you are tired, afraid, alone, and in need......Remember, Jesus Christ, the lover of our souls, the beautiful one, the righteous one, our King and Saviour is only a prayer away...Lean on Him and He will bring you through!!!
